Glycerin Base Original is a neutral glycerin base without flavorings and without CBD components. The main active ingredient is vegetable glycerin (Vegable Glycerin, VG). This is a standard component for liquid bases of this class: it is hygroscopic, maintains good stability at room temperature, and does not react with CBD isolate or extract when mixed.

Vegetable glycerin is obtained mainly from vegetable oils - sunflower, palm or coconut - by hydrolysis. The final product is a clear or slightly yellowish liquid with a characteristic viscous consistency. It is this viscosity that ensures an even distribution of CBD components in the finished mix without stratification.

Physical properties of glycerin base

Glycerin has a density of about 1.26 g/ml - significantly higher than water. This affects the behavior of the finished mix: it will be slightly heavier and more viscous compared to aqueous solutions. The viscosity simplifies dropwise dosing and reduces the risk of accidental spillage.

The freezing point of glycerin is below zero, so the base remains liquid under normal storage conditions at home or in the office. When cooled below room temperature, the consistency becomes slightly thicker, but this does not affect the quality of the product - it is enough to keep the bottle at room temperature for a few minutes before mixing.

Glycerin is hygroscopic - it absorbs moisture from the air. That is why it is important to keep the bottle tightly closed between uses: prolonged contact with humid air can affect the consistency of the base and the stability of the finished mix.

Do not leave the bottle open between uses - glycerin absorbs moisture from the air, which can change the consistency of the product. Avoid storing next to strongly odorous substances: glycerin base can absorb foreign odors.
