Vegetable glycerin is obtained mainly from vegetable oils - sunflower, palm or coconut - by hydrolysis. The final product is a clear or slightly yellowish liquid with a characteristic viscous consistency.

Physical properties of glycerin base

The freezing point of glycerin is below zero, so the base remains liquid under normal storage conditions at home or in the office.
