Sheng Puer Tea "Ancient Way of the Tea Horse"

This is a 2018 aged pressed sheng puer produced in Yunnan Province, China. The name of the tea refers to the historical trade route "Cha Ma Gu Dao" that connected the tea regions of China with Tibet, India and other countries.

This sheng puer is made from high-quality raw materials collected from Camellia sinensis var. assamica tea trees. The leaves undergo traditional processing: withering, roasting, twisting and drying in the sun. Thanks to this, the tea retains its natural aroma and taste, which over time become deeper and more complex.

Taste characteristics:

Fresh herbaceous aroma with notes of flowers and fruits.
The taste is bright, with a slight bitterness, which over time changes to sweetish shades of honey and dried fruits.
The infusion has a golden-yellow color, which indicates the quality of the raw materials and proper processing.

Effect:

Sheng Puer is known for its mild tonic effect, which helps to improve concentration and mood. This tea is ideal for morning or afternoon consumption, especially during work or creative activities.

Brewing recommendations:

Use 6-8 g of tea per 500 ml of water.
Water temperature: 90–95°C.
Brew for 7 minutes.
Before brewing, it is recommended to rinse the tea twice, pouring boiling water over it for 5 seconds each time.
Before pouring the infusion, be sure to stir the tea in the teapot to ensure an even distribution of flavor.
